Good Luck Aunt Danielle!

Last night the whole family gathered together to bid a fond farewell and Good Luck to Aunt Danielle who is leaving tomorrow for her first year at Franklin Pierce College in New Hampshire. Aunt Danielle was very sad when we were getting ready to leave, hugging us very tightly and not wanting to let us go. She's afraid that the next time she sees us, which is in 3 weeks when she comes home for a family wedding, we are going to be a lot bigger than we are now. Well, we probably will be! Good Luck Aunt Danielle, we know you'll do great. And, hopefully Grandma won't cry too much when she is on her way home.

A day with Lolo and Lola!

Ron and I had a surprise 30th birthday party to attend today so the kids were picked up by Lolo and Lola to spend the day with them in New Jersey. The kids had a great time and I can tell this as they both slept soundly through the night. They were taken to a party where there was a clown, received animal balloons, and Hailey even got her first tatoo (washable of course which made her Daddy very happy). The next day all Hailey would say was "Look at my butterfly tatoo" as she would flash the top of her hand. I was later told that the kids were great and they both ate a lot. They were even taken for a walk by Tito Ton Ton and Tita Marianne. Thanks Lolo and Lola for a great day!

The Beach and Miniature Golf!

Today we were invited to join the Hoisik's for a trip to the beach and to play some miniature golf. Since John had never been to the beach we took a trip down to the water first. Hailey and John were a little hesitant at first to get their feet wet but after a while found out that it was fun as they continued to run in and out of the water. "Trouble" Joe on the other hand, was ready to run in head first, as always. Miniature golf was fun. It was Hailey's first time playing and she played more like it was shuffle board than golf. We'll have to keep practicing with her. Baby Collin joined us as well and in true baby fashion slept the whole time. Thanks for a good time!

Got Milk?!?!?!

Throughout this summer every Wednesday I have been running at Eisenhower Park. After the run we have been going to Friendly's for dinner and some much deserved ice cream. It has been somewhat of a project to keep Joey entertained as he no longer wants to sit still. For some reason he truly enjoys playing with the milk they supply for the coffee..He puts the whole thing in his mouth as you can say and laughs so hard. Maybe he'll be a comedian!

Adventureland

On Saturday 8/18/07 we took the kids for the 1st time to Adventureland. We were joined by the Hoisik family and Grandma. The kids had so much fun! John and Hailey went on every ride and even some rides twice. They proceeded to scream very loudly in enjoyment while riding the cars rollercoaster. We even got to spend some time with baby Collin who is just shy of 4 weeks old. (Pictures to follow)

Babies, Babies and more Babies!!!!!!!!

A few months back the Baccary clan including Bob, Debbie and Nate were able to head out to Michigan to visit the Orca's for Mateo's baptism. It was at this time that Ann & Ivy suggested we get the kids together for a family photo. Props to all the parents and workers at Walmart who actually were able to get these 5 kids to sit somewhat still for this picture. It truly was a sight to see.

Summer 2007

As the summer comes to an end we can honestly say that the kids had a great time. H&J both love the water and are like fish never wanting to get out of the pool. Hailey is 2 1/2 and is ready to conquer the world. She will be starting a pre-school one day a week this fall with her cousin Andrew and friend John and is very excited. Joey just 10 months old has already begun to walk. Now if we can just get him to sleep through the night, mommy would be a happy camper.
