Farewell Alves Family

Today we had a family get together BBQ at the Westbury house so that everyone could see Aunt Kristine and the kids before they leave for their big move to Florida. The entire Woolfson clan was there and the kids had a great time running around and playing. Here are some pictures courtesy of Aunt Kristine:

Daddy's Weekend

This weekend was all about Dad! Saturday was Dad's birthday. We celebrated by having the Baccaray clan over for lunch where we feasted on lots of filipino barbeque. Lolo and Lola even surprised Dad and gave him a charcoil grill which we used that day to make lunch. Dad enjoyed his feast which was prepared by all especially Lola who spent most of the early afternoon in the kitchen. Later that afternoon Grandma, Grandpa, Nona and Aunt Kristine stopped by for a little bit to wish Dad his birthday wishes. He enjoyed his day and was very thankful for all that came to celebrate with him.

Sunday, was Dad's very first 100 mile century ride. He started at about 6:00 in the morning and along with Uncle David and Grandpa the boys set out for their ride. We caught up to them at about mile 73 and the fellas looked great. For the last 27 miles we continued to follow them in the cars where Hailey would yell out the window "go Daddy go". The 100 miles came to an end with the boys feeling great.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was great! I got to do exactly what i wanted: SLEEP!!!!. The evening ended with a nice dinner with the family but not before Hailey was able to get some outdoor time with Aidan.

The following photos were "borrowed" from Aidan's blog and taken by the renowned photographer Tito Florante Galvez. Thanks for sharing!

Is it bad that Florante and I picture the kids wedding video everytime we get great pictures of them?!?!?!

Lola Retires

Today we attended Lola's retirement party hosted by Tito Ton Ton and Tita Marianne. The party was held at Pines Manor catering Hall in NJ. Lola looked very happy the entire night and the guests enjoyed dining on the great food and dancing to the music played by the DJ. The big dance of the night was the Papaya Dance that Tita Marianne had us learning prior to the party. Hailey got her groove on during the Cha Cha slide where Lolo and Dad sat sidelined watching with big smiles on their faces. Joey was his usual self running around the room and trying to find any crack in the doors so he could make his escape. Joey and Nate did a little dancing themselves in the form of what we call "the happy feet dance". Pictures courtesy of Tita Marianne:

Tupperware Anyone?

Hailey joined me Friday night for her very first tupperware party. She was very excited as this was a girls only evening so we left Joey at home with Dad and headed to Stephanie and Eric's house. Hailey was so excited that it was girls only that she even made sure to tell me that "Brooke's Daddy can't be there either". She had a great time playing with Kaitlyn and Brooke and seeing all of Brooke's toys.
