Today we woke up to our first major snow storm of the season. To look outside and see all the snow was awesome! The day continued to be great as I got a phone call that Hailey's school was closed and so was my office. Ron then found out that he was able to work from home. So, officially we had a SNOW DAY! She may not look a lot like me but she is definitly her mother's daughter. Hailey too was so excited about the snow that at 8:30 am we were outside playing and running around. Aidan was outside also as he was waiting for his parents before heading off to school.
After being outside for over an hour we went back in to warm up. I was able to straighten up the house and even take a little nap before heading outside again. This time Hailey and I made our first official snowman:
After practicing her snow angels on our living room carpet, Hailey was finally able to do it in the snow for real:
And finally, Hailey enjoyed climbing and sliding up and down on the big mound of snow created by the plows. Aidan returned home from school and the kids got to play a little bit longer. I wish snow days happened more often. Does that make me strange?

Looks like SO much fun! The kids are so lucky they have each other. I think Hailey and Aidan are destined for a big future together. Cute, Cute, Cute!
